While actress Angel Locsin now professes love for football star Phil Younghusband, she is being rumored that she will celebrate Valentine’s Day with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Angel herself confirmed the rumor, saying that she will be with the matinee idol who is her leading man in the movie “Unofficially Yours” which is about to open in theaters nationwide.
During the movie’s grand launch, Angel disclosed that there’s no date set yet for her and Phil Younghusband on February 14.
Angel’s newest movie with John Lloyd will premiere on a Valentine’s Day that’s why she admitted she will be with John Lloyd on Valentine’s Day.
“Sa Valentine’s Day eh kasama ko si Lloydie. Kasama ko kayo (referring to the entertainment press),” Angel said.
The comely movie and television star said she is not sure yet how she and boyfriend Phil Younghusband will spend the day of hearts.
She said she is happy to know that the football star is always beside her and supports her acting career.
The couple became an item last year after Phil dared to ask Angel to go on Valentine date on micro-blogging site Twitter.
It was disclosed that Angel initially rejected the offer of Phil due to her prior showbiz commitments, but later agreed on seeing the Azkals key player on other days.
Since then, the two were constantly seen together in showbiz events and private parties and they are each other’s date on major entertainment functions.
 John Lloyd actually will be celebrating the love month with a happy heart following his reconciliation with girlfriend Shaina Magdayo.
The actor decided not to divulge details of their relationship in public and said they want to keep the romance to themselves this time around.
“We are trying to keep the private matters private kasi masyado din ata kaming naging maluwag din sa pagwe-welcome ng public sa buhay naming,” he said.
Star Cinema’s latest offering, “Unofficially Yours”, will open in theaters starting February 15.
Angel, who has bee linked to Mico Sotto, Oyo Sotto ang Lucky Manzano in the past, still refuses to define her relationship with the Azkals star player.
Asked whether she loves him, she admits she does but she clarified that she does not feel ready to make their relationship official yet. As to what to term their relationship, she refuses to give it a label.
